Sara Rohs
Sara trained at many Twin Cities dance studios including Zenon Dance Company, Ballet Arts, Stage Door Dance for Performing Arts, The FIRM, Dance Spectrum, the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, and the University of Wisconsin Madison Dance Program.
She danced for the Faribault high school dance team and was a captain on the Augsburg College Dance Team. She has stayed on to coach 4 years. Sara Started the Ascending Star Dance Team in 2004 and was the director and dancer 3 years. Sara taught for Just for Kix summer camps and hosted workshops with the Augsburg Dance Team. She has danced professionally for various events and was a member of the 2007 Swarm Performance Team.
Sara is the Owner of Ascending Star Dance, an Internet Dance Magazine. Her goal is to connect dancers and give them the opportunities and training to succeed.
Recently Sara danced with the Diamond Dancers form the Milwaukee Brewers and the SweatShop Hip Hop Crew out of Madison WI. Sara is the artistic director for the Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company.
Sara has studied with: Marlene Skog, Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, LaurieAnn Gibson, Criss Judd, Joe Tremaine, Dave Scott, Tyce Diorio, Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo, Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin, Doug Caldwell, Nick Lazzarini.
Sara has taught dance and choreographed for many dance studios and dance teams including college and professional dance teams and professional dance companies. She currently teaches dance at A Step Above Dance in Monona and judges dance competitions throughout WI.
Ashley Grantin

A native of Prairie du Sac, WI, Ashley has been dancing since she could walk. Ashley received a scholarship to study dance at the University of Arizona. While there, she performed in numerous Dance Department Showcases and was a Student Choreographer. She also danced with the U of A Pomline, performing at Football and Basketball games and serving as team Captain. Her team competed at the USA Collegiate Dance Nationals, winning the National title in 2001. Ashley completed her studies at the University of Minnesota, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance in 2004. While there, she also was a Student Choreographer.
Ashley has dance professionally with Kanopy Dance Company, Jazzworks Dance Company, Milwaukee Brewers Diamond Dancers, and currently dances with Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company and the Minneapolis Starettes. While Ashley loves to perform, her true passion for dance is teaching. She has over 10 years of teaching experience at various studios in Arizona, Chicago, and the Madison area. In addition to teaching, Ashley also coached the University of Wisconsin Dance Team for two years. She spent the past six years teaching for her “Dance Family,” Kehl School of Dance in Madison, WI.
Allison Kenison
Ally Kenison graduated with High Honors in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a major in Dance and a minor in French. Originally from Madison, she's had extensive dance training for sixteen years and is experienced in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Modern, Ballet, and Pointe. She has taken class from numerous prestigious companies including, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, River North Chicago, and Susan Marshall Dance Company. She is now a Personal Trainer, coaches Middleton High School Dance Team and teaches dance at Kehl School of Dance in Madison, WI.
Annie Nimmo
Growing up in the Twin Cities, Annie has trained at numerous dance schools including Hopkins Dance Center, Victoria Dance Productions, and most prominently, Ballet Arts Minnesota, where she found her love of performing The Nutcracker. She became a member of the Ballet Arts Springboard Dance Company her senior year of high school, and has also had the privilege to attend summer dance intensive programs with Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts and the American Ballet Theatre. Annie recently graduated from UW-Madison with a history degree, and maintained her passion for dance by taking UW dance classes religiously throughout college. She is currently dancing with Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company, and teaches dance at the Kehl School of Dance.
Corinne Jones

Corinne Jones trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap at Dance Arts Centre in Eden Prairie, MN for 11 years. With Dance Arts Centre, she competed locally and nationally and was captain of La Danse Fatale, a pre-professional contemporary ballet company in 2004, its inaugural year.
While studying at Boston University, Corinne was a member of The Edge Dance Company, a jazz and lyrical company that performed on-campus and throughout the Boston area and Eastern Massachusetts. Throughout her years with The Edge, she served as Treasurer, Vice-President, and President. In Boston, she took class with the Boston Ballet and at Jeanette Niell Dance Studio, and she also travelled to take class and attend dance workshops in New York City.
Corinne recently graduated from UW-Madison with a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She currently works as a researcher and clinical speech pathologist at UW Hospital and Clinics and teaches dance at A Leap Above Dance in Oregon, WI. This is her second year dancing with Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company.

Natalie Nemeckay

Most of Natalie’s early training was at Ballet Madison in Madison, WI. She continued to study ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and tap. One of her fondest childhood memories is dancing in the Nutcracker with Wisconsin Dance Ensemble. She also enjoyed dancing in musicals and competing with her poms team. She continued on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from UW-Stevens Point.
After college she went out to teach, perform and choreograph in the Madison area. This quickly led to the opening of her own studio, A Leap Above Dance, in Oregon, WI. She has been the director and a teacher at her studio for the last 10 years. Natalie is a competition award winning choreographer. She was also featured in Dance Teacher Magazine in 2005, 2008, and in 2011. Natalie continues the Nutcracker tradition annually with her own studios production of the Nutcracker Dream.
Natalie recently danced with Dane County Hawk’s Dance Team and is so excited to continue to dance with MCVD!
When Natalie is not dancing she is spending time with her husband and twin daughters.
